Project backstory

Another Clif Bar rebranding campaign–the updated packaging on these bars, with their block colors and stark contrast, made for the perfect playground when it came to creating a playful, almost cartoony aesthetic for the brand.

Inspired by the incredible logotype lockup created by Clif packaging designer, Cat Chmaj, we developed a visual system to accent the creamy and rich nut butter texture using fun drop and dollop shapes.

Deliverables in detail

We created a design system that was applied throughout the product's launch phase including in e-commerce carousels, Clif and 3rd party vendor websites, a hero product video, and animated social videos.

The results

We were so happy to have been able to play such a pivotal role in the re-introduction of one of our all-time favorite bars from Clif. We love how the new look represents the goodness inside like never before, and the successful launch has shown that we're not the only ones who share this sentiment.
